The Minnesota State Patrol says two people traveling south on I-35 in Duluth suffered injuries when a tire flew into their car.
Margaret and Michael Billings, both of Duluth, had been near 40th Avenue West when this happened.
The patrol says an SUV on the northbound side lost a tire, which bounced over the concrete median and into the Billings' vehicle.
First responders took them to St. Luke's with injuries that are non-life threatening.
