Traveling? Northbound I-35E/35W down to a single lane near Forest Lake July 23-24

Motorists will encounter lane closures on Northbound Interstates 35/35E/35W this weekend (July 23-24) in Forest Lake as crews complete a concrete repair project.
Beginning at 5 a.m. Saturday, July 23, northbound I-35E and northbound I-35W will each be reduced to a single lane south of the I-35E/I-35W split
Also, beginning at 5 a.m. Saturday, July 23, northbound I-35 will be reduced to two lanes from the I-35E/I-35W split to approximately one quarter mile north of the split.
All lanes are expected to reopen by 10 a.m. Sunday, July 24. All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones where workers are present.
