Duluth Police arrest man weeks after downtown bank robbery

Duluth Police have arrested a man more than two weeks after he allegedly robbed a bank in downtown Duluth. The robbery happened on Monday, February 28 at the National Bank of Commerce location on West Superior Street and 3rd Avenue.

After investigating, police say they arrested a 41-year-old Illinois man in Hanover Park, Illinois Wednesday, March 16. He’s being held in an Illinois jail, pending charges.

Police said no one was injured in the incident.  They did not disclose how much money the suspect took.
