Greetings, Families!

We currently have a few volunteer opportunities for you to consider:

  • Our regular recycling volunteers, Joni and Nathan Kristenson will be unavailable for two weeks and we need someone to bring the recycling that the Lynx classroom collects from the building, to the Recycle Center.  Can you help an hour each week of 2/28 and 3/7?  If so, call the office for details.  Who knows - you may even find yourself in the next Lynx Recycling Rap video!

  • Seeds for the plant sale have been ordered and some have arrived!  Our Environmental Educator, Emma Adams will be lining up volunteers to fill pots with soil, plant seeds and keep the seedlings watered until the plant sale in late spring.  Please consider how you can help with this huge project!  The plant sale is Great Expectations' big fundraiser, and everyone's help is needed in some manner.  More information to come!

  • This item requires no extra time or money, and keeps on giving until you make the change:  Support GES by making Amazon purchases through Amazon Smile and selecting GES as the recipient of 0.5% of your purchases.  Visit smile.amazon.com to start giving today!
