This week is School Bus Driver appreciation week.  The SHIP (Statewide Health Improvement Partnership) wants to recognize on behalf of the community, the drivers that safely transport Cook County children to and from school.   

They face the challenges of weather and the unpredictability of school closures during the Covid pandemic on a daily basis.

A somewhat shy group regarding being photographed or recognized, but they agreed to this photo.  Not all drivers were in the photo that day.   They welcome additional interested drivers and site the pay, benefits, flexible work hours, working with children  as reasons they drive a school bus either as a substitute or regular driver.  If interested contact:
