There are plenty of things to love about Canal Park. Visitors come far and wide to experience Duluth and Canal is the spot that encapsulates it all. Austin Peper from Texas loves the space. “It’s nice and relaxing. It's a good outdoor space.”

And now along with the breezy weather, the popular Lake Superior maritime visitor center is open once again. Returning as a must stop location after being closed for the pandemic.

Nathan Anders, a visitor from Minneapolis says they, “Walked around Canal Park for a little visit and then this was a priority to stop by and check out." He visited this morning while on his honeymoon trip to the North Shore.

The museum will be open this Thursday through Monday 10:00am to 6:00pm. After that they will reassess their hours, but the landmark being open is exciting just on its own.

Nathan says, “it's good to see especially with the past year, it's good to see everyone out enjoying Duluth again."
