Sawtooth Mountain Elementary 2021-2022 Kindergarten Information 

Kindergarten Parent Meeting: Monday, April 19th @ 5:30 pm 

Join us for an hour-long multimedia zoom presentation about the excellent education your child will receive at Sawtooth Mountain Elementary School. At this meeting, administration and the current kindergarten teachers will share information about our small class sizes, aligned curriculums for mathematics, reading, writing and language arts, our licensed specialist teachers (physical education, music, art, and Spanish), our elementary library, our use of technology to enhance instruction, our school garden, and our school forest trail systems. Kindergarten Family Tour Monday, May 3rd 9:00-11:00AM and 3:30-6:30pm

Round Up Day: Monday, May 17th 8:00-10:00 or 10:30-12:30 or 1:30-3:30 families sign up on sign up genius 

Children come for two hours (without parents). Due to COVID19 protocols all activities will be outdoors and children must wear masks. We will be in our outdoor classroom, school forest, felted forest, playground and school garden. Please come dressed to be outside. Transportation will not be provided, students will need to be picked up and dropped off at the Outdoor Classroom, located south west side of the Sawtooth Mountain Elementary Parking lot. Summer Play Date: Thursday, August 26th, 10:30-11:30 

Come start the year off right with a chance to connect with other students and families on the Sawtooth Playground. In case of rain, we will post our alternate location on the door by the sandbox.
