Duluth Mayor Emily Larson and other elected officials wrote an open letter to Rep. Stauber criticizing his decision to join a lawsuit aimed at invalidating President-elect Joe Biden’s victory Sunday.
Larson and councilors wrote in a letter posted on Twitter: "As elected leaders and constituents of the 8th Congressional District, we are disheartened and dismayed by your recent actions. Your decision to sign onto an amicus brief aimed at overturning the results of a valid and certified presidential election is alarming, to say the least."
WDIO reached out to the MN GOP and Rep. Pete Stauber's office in response to this letter and are waiting to hear back. Some things must be said.
