At least a dozen fire departments helped battle a fire in downtown Hibbing on Tuesday morning.

The fire was reported in the building at 421 East Howard Street shortly before 10:30 a.m. The Northland Fire Wire reports that the fire apparently began on the second floor, and the building appears to be a total loss.

There were no reports of injuries.

The building has retail space on the first floor and houses the Hibbing Moose Lodge on the second floor. St. Louis County property records show the building was constructed in 1922.

The area of the fire is less than a block from city hall and the library.

There is now a GoFundMe setup to help raise money to repair damages.
