Media Release from Cook County Highway Department - September 20, 2018

September 20, 2018 – As roadbed excavation continues on Old Highway 61 (CSAH 17) in Grand Portage, culvert replacements are scheduled to begin on Mineral Center Road today.

A total of 19 culverts will be replaced on Mineral Center Road between Highway 61 and County Road 89.  One lane of Mineral Center Road will remain open to local traffic until Old Hwy 61 work is complete.  Drivers should expect delays up to 30 minutes.

Drivers in that area are asked to obey all signage. Your patience is appreciated as we work to make these important infrastructure improvements.
