Thanks to all those who donated toward the $950 cost of a protective vest for Eddy, the new dog with the Cook County Sheriff's Office. The final total probably will exceed $1,000. The vest is expected to arrive in about 8 weeks. We hope to have a photo of Eddy modeling it then.
