Activities that will be held the week of July 15 – July 22 at Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center

"Getting to grips with invasive species"

This week come earn your pine cone badge. 

Tuesday, July 17 –Kids’ Day programs; all children ages 18 and under have free admission to the Museum. Kids’ Day runs every Tuesday through August 14. 

Tuesday, July 17 – USFS 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm Northwoods talk. Every Tuesday through August 21

July 21— 10 am—3 pm the entire day will be set aside to learn about Invasive Species in our area. Go to www.chikwaukcom to get exact times of the special presentations that will be offered. 

July 22— 2 pm—3 pm David Battistel will be here to present on John A. Paulson: “The Man Behind the Mystery”. Presentation is free to the public. 

 All special presentations are family friendly and free to the public. 

Museum is open from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Nature Center is open from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

Admission charge $4/adult, $2/children 5 – 18 under 5 are free.

Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center is located on the Gunflint Trail (Hwy12) turn right onto Moose Pond Drive (Cty Rd 81).
