It's no secret that Ontario is full of unreal nature and stunning provincial parks. There's actually over 300 provincial parks in all of Ontario which is kind of amazing when you think about it. 

Each of these provincial parks hold unique and exciting adventures that are just waiting to be explored! There's one in particular called Pancake Bay Provincial Park that's home to a stunning turquoise blue beach that literally looks like the coast of California! 

Besides the fact that it has the most adorable name ever, Pancake Bay is home to 3 km worth of sandy beach, bright blue water and hiking trails to explore! 

The unreal Pancake Bay Provincial Park sits on Lake Superior in Algoma Country which is an 8 hour drive from Toronto, a 9.5 hour drive from Ottawa, a 10 hour drive from Kingston and a 7.5 hour drive from London. It may be a commitment to get there but it's 100% worth the drive! 

If you hike along the Edmund Fitzgerald Trail you'll eventually reach the top where there's a lookout point that gives you a breathtaking view of Lake Superior and the gorgeous Pancake Bay! The trail is about 14 km long, round trip and is a moderately difficult hike so basically any hiking level could complete it.

There's tons of camping sites available that are perfect for a summer weekend getaway and even 5 yurts available for rent! There's also a shorter hiking trail in this park called The Pancake Bay Nature Trail that's only 3.5 km long and is perfect for those that want a short and sweet hike! 

This park is home to one of the most beautiful beaches in all of North America and is ideal for a day or two of relaxing in the sand, reading a good book and taking a dip in the crystal blue waters.
