The time has nearly arrived for EATS (Enriching Academics Through Sustenance), which is the annual special taste treat for Cook County on Thursday, March 22, 2018.  This fundraiser is made possible by our ISD 166 Education Foundation. Tickets are available for $25 and can be purchased at the PK-12 office, Java Moose or the Blue Water Cafe.

Local restaurants, along with the ISD 166 culinary arts students, provide restaurant favorites or their food specialties.  Ticket holders will sample food, as well as take in the festive spirit of the evening while listening to music provided by Jim Lundorff (Sawtooth Elementary teacher) and the high school choir and band students.  Ticket holders also have the opportunity to bid on great silent auction items, which are provided by individuals and members of our Cook County business community.

EATS has provided nearly $119,000 in grants since its inception.  Since 2017 to the present, $22,878 has been awarded to provide unique experiences for students through innovative instruction and co-curricular programs.  Creative activities and equipment which supplement and enhance the educational process are the primary focus of the foundation funding.

Only 150 tickets are sold, so get your EATS ticket today!
