State Capitol at Night

By Rhonda Silence of WTIP Radio News - Friday, January 12, 2018

The Minnesota State Capitol was taken over on January 4-6 by a new generation.

Students from across the state gathered at the Capitol for the Minnesota YMCA Youth in Government model assembly. Eleven Cook County students make the trip to St. Paul to "serve" as legislators, lobbyists and members of the Supreme Court.

Rhonda Silence speaks with one of the adults who joined the kids on this adventure, Heidi Doo-Kirk of Grand Marais.
