Update on Cook County Road Conditions

Jan 11, 2018 04:43PM ● Published by Editor

Cook County Highway crews have plowed, sanded and salted all county roads today to manage slippery conditions.

Dropping temps and winds do impact efficacy of salt and sand; motorists are reminded to use extra caution as roads are still slippery with the weather conditions.

Slow down, allow for extra stopping time and give equipment a safe perimeter.

Highway crews will resume operations at 4 am.
