Update on Cook County Road Conditions
Jan 11, 2018 04:43PM ● By EditorCook County Highway crews have plowed, sanded and salted all county roads today to manage slippery conditions.
Dropping temps and winds do impact efficacy of salt and sand; motorists are reminded to use extra caution as roads are still slippery with the weather conditions.
Slow down, allow for extra stopping time and give equipment a safe perimeter.
Highway crews will resume operations at 4 am.
