Cook County High School graduate and national recording artist Cobi sang the national anthem Oct. 15 in front of 67,000 people gathered inside US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis for an NFL game between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings.
The Minnesota Vikings were gracious enough to provide WTIP with a press pass for the Vikings game where Cobi sang the national anthem.
WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs met up with Cobi, known locally and while he grew up in Cook County as Jacob Schmidt, on the field at US Bank Stadium about two hours before he was scheduled to perform the national anthem.
