EDA hosts groundbreaking for workforce housing project

An official groundbreaking for the Nordic Star housing development was held Mon., October 2.

The normally quiet Second Street in Grand Marais was quite busy on Monday, October 2 as representatives of the Cook County/Grand Marais Economic Development Authority, the city of Grand Marais, Cook County, the Cook County Chamber, and One Roof Housing gathered for an official groundbreaking for the Nordic Star workforce housing development.
