A collaborative restoration project on the Reservation River in Cook County near Highway 61 took place in August, though the project was years in the making. Involved with the restoration efforts and planning were a variety of entities and organizations, including staff from Technical Service Area III based in Duluth, Cook County Soil and Water, the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Army Corps of Engineers, LaBoda Grading from Hovland and the Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa.

WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs recently visited the restoration site on the Reservation River and shares this report.  To listen to the report, follow this link to the WTIP website.
