Media Release from Cook County - August 29, 2017

August 29, 2017 –Deadlines on the Cook County Highway 7 project have been extended due to weather and unexpected site conditions. Paving is scheduled to begin soon after Labor Day weekend. 

Over the coming weeks, aggregate shouldering, replacement of mailboxes and final striping will follow paving. Ulland Brothers and Cook County hope to complete this project by the end of September.

Motorists are asked to obey all signage and use extra caution in the area. Your patience is appreciated as we work to complete these important infrastructure upgrades.
