• Geology walks, 10 a.m. Sundays through Aug. 27. Cost: $2 per person, $5 per family.
• Bird banding demonstrations, 7 a.m. to noon Thursdays through Aug. 24 if not raining. Donations accepted.
• Sugarloaf annual meeting, ice cream social and rock balancing demonstration, 1 p.m. Saturday.
• The North Shore's Fascinating Geology, 10 a.m. Aug. 19. Cost: $2 per person, $5 per family.
• The Beauty and Birds of Hawk Ridge, 10 a.m. Aug. 26. Cost: $2 per person, $5 per family.
• Special workshop regarding invasive shed training, 6 p.m. Aug. 31. Cost: $10 per person, $8 for members. Pre-registration required.
