Cook County Highway Department Launches Online Permits

Several Cook County Highway Department permits are now available online. Residents can now apply for Entrance, Moving, Special Road Use and Utility Permits through the County’s ePermitting system.
“We are excited to add the Highway Department permits to the suite of electronic permits available on the County’s website,” said Jeff Cadwell, County Administrator. “These ePermits will help provide greater access to the County across the vast geographic area that Cook County encompasses, improve turn-around time and reduce difficulty applicants can face in submitting paper applications.”
The ePermitting portal is available under the E-SERVICES tab at www.co.cook.mn.us. New users must click the Sign-Up tab in the upper right corner of the page to access the ePermitting application.
The Highway Department processes approximately 80-100 permits each year.
